New Year's Day Ride — January 1, 2008

It has been said that whatever you do on New Year's Day, you will be doing all year long. With that in mind, what better way to start the new year than to get out on your bike! And so we did! We met for an early lunch (including black-eyed peas) at the Black-eyed Pea in Humble, then took off for a brief ride through the forests north of Houston. It was another frigid ride (windy with temperatures in the 40s), but the curves and the scenery made it worthwhile.

May this be the start of a great year of safe riding!
